Hayley moves to her grandmas with her sister and her mom and her dad. Hayley and her little sister, Chloe, and her mom have just moved into their grandma’s house. Taking the Cake!
I read this one just because the girls all said it was great, but it could be a WAW contender as well. The main characters are Hayley and her little sister, Chloe. Meanwhile her best friend ditched her, but she did find a new friend who is sort of NUTS!!! I would rate this book a nine and a half because when I was reading this I wanted to find out more.
It takes her a while to appreciate good changes but she usually gets there. While struggling through her parents’ divorce, she loses her two best friends, she pines over a crush, and she finds herself the victim of mean girl behavior. Hayley, the main character, found out that her parents are getting divorced.
Also Part of This Series. In the book, when a character has an anaphylactic allergic reaction, she is taken to a doctor’s office. Is part of the confectionately yours series. Your First Name Only.
It would be a weak yes vote, but I know the kids like it so it should be considered. So how do you know when it’s time to give up? This book is quite easy in my opinion and it does not have simple recipes that are easy to follow. Great book for kids going in or in grade!!
Yet, things start going a little crazy in her life as Thanksgiving approaches, and her Dad announces they are going to meet his girlfriend’s parents, tilting her world again.
Other books in this series. Confectionately Yours is an adorable series and Taking the Cake a really nice adition to it!
