This is me shooting demonic Pinnocchios. I have nothing else to say. On the lower difficulty settings, Painkiller Hell and Damnation is a walk in the park. You rage through Purgatory, guns blazing, laughing maniacally all the way.
On the harder difficulties however, the game will kick you in the face and make you beg for more. Take into account that Painkiller has always been an old school shooter: There is no regenerating health or cover mechanic, no way to call in airstrikes or AI partners, just you, the player, and an arsenal of guns.
It is a simple test of your skill and reflexes and it is oh so satisfying when you really feel like you are Heaven's hitman, meting out deserved punishment upon the wicked.
